Clifton  is an affluent suburb located in the Saddar Town of Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Clifton is one of the localities in Karachi where real estate activity remains on the up despite the overall state of law and order in the city.
Location
Clifton lies in the southern area of Saddar Town. Clifton has been reputed to be a residential place of the rich and famous people of Karachi since the independence of Pakistan. South of Clifton lies Clifton Beach, Pakistan's most popular beach.

Clifton is dotted with numerous shopping malls most of which are frequently crowded with shoppers throughout the year.
Located near Teen Talwar, the Gulf Shopping Mall is one of the many famous malls located in the town. It mostly specializes in clothing for women and traditional shoes and bangles. Located right next to it is Uzma Center which also provides and caters the same variety of items. Ashiana shopping mall is located between the KPT underpass and Punjab roundabout and offers the same items as the above mentioned malls. Dolmen City Mall is located near Clifton Beach.
Near Ashiana is The Forum, a recently built modern mall and office building, is a two-storey mall which caters to a small but wealthy percentage of the population due to it housing many international clothing and accessories chains such as NIKE, ADIDAS, DIOR, etc. Park Towers, also known as The Point, is one of the most sophisticated malls of Clifton. Opposite the shrine of Abdullah Shah Ghazi, this mall provides a range of amenities, including brand outlets, international chain restaurants, supermarkets, mobile shops, ice cream parlours and fashion line clothing shops. It has escalators and 2 small capsule elevators. Local brands like Sputnik Footwear, Amir Adnan, Khaadi and English Boot House are also present here.
Clifton Road has become a commercial centre, known for its availability of high-quality goods. Wealthy people from all around Karachi and Pakistan come to shop here while vacationing.
Clifton Beach or Seaview is a beach in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan located on the Arabian Sea. It is one of the neighborhoods of Clifton, Saddar Town. It was the world's most popular silver-sand beach and health resort during 20th century[citation needed] but in 2003 it was affected by an oil spill.[1] The beach has attractions for families and tourists, including beachside horse and camel rides, amusement parks, restaurants, and swimming in the Arabian Sea.

A gated residential area called Seaview Apartments lies close to a section of Clifton beach known as Seaview beach or simply "Seaview". Further ahead lies Darakhshan villas which comprises residential townhouses and huts.

Another attraction in this area is the recently constructed Cineplex cinema for the people who reside in DHA and Clifton. Hollywood films are mostly screened here along with some selected Bollywood films. The cinemas are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and other entertainment sections.Soon as the sun sets,flood lights come up and the picnic continues till midnight.
The Defence Housing Authority is fighting erosion by badding more sand, which may change the shape and features of the beach.
Other beaches close to the city include Sandspit, Hawke's Bay, and Paradise Point (a sandstone rock promontory with a natural arch), Sonehra point, French beach, cape Mount, Manora Beach, but Clifton Beach is the most popular picnic destination in Karachi.[citation needed]  Tower Karachi skyline from Clifton Beachfrom Clifton Beach.
Dolmen Mall Clifton is a Mall in Karachi, Pakistan that is located on Seaview, Clifton. It opened in September 2011 and is known for opening first international brand outlets such as Debenhams, Timberland, Next, Monsoon and Accessorize and first openings of international fast food outlets such as Fatburger and Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt as well as Şölen Istanbul. It also opened a kid's arcade called Sindbad's Underwater World. The brand new Abrar Store is going to open in may 2016.
Boat Basin
 is located in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.The area got its name from the lake (which is part of Karachi mangrove forests) which has been a favorite boating place. Later on as the city got bigger the lake clear waters have changed to the today brown waters and the boating has ceased to be. The restaurants have been originally built to serve those who came for boating. Boat Basin has the most trendy restaurants and considered one of the main food streets in Karachi. Today the street is thriving with dozens of restaurants, out of which some are open non-stop. It is the most frequent eat-out place of Karachi for the middle-class. The prime time is between 10 pm and 1 am. Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Park is also located in Boat Basin.
There are several ethnic groups in the area including Muhajirs, Punjabis, Sindhis, Kashmiris, Seraikis, Pakhtuns, Balochis, Memons, Bohras Ismailis, etc. About 99% of the population is Muslim.
The Boat Basin, the water of which was once naturally replenished with fresh seawater because of its proximity to the sea is gradually drying up and turning into a cesspool due to unplanned constructions in the area blocking its access to the sea.
Seaview is a beach in Clifton, Karachi, Pakistan.
The Seaview beach is a section of Clifton beach located in Clifton. It is a popular recreational place for Karachiites.

The beach is accessible day and night as there are floodlights illuminating the entire beach. Seaview also has a number of eateries starting from Salt and Pepper Restaurant on one end to McDonalds on the other with many small restaurants in the middle. Clifton Beach, or Sea View is easily accessible and has various attractions for its visitors.
